Alfred Gautreau, 65, of Derby Street, Moncton, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Tuesday August 15, 1995, after a lengthy illness.  

Born in Pré-d'en-Haut, he was the son of the late Anthony and Dora (Gould) Gautreau. He was employed at CN-VIA until retirement. He attended Notre Dame de Grâce Roman Catholic Church, Parkton.

He is survived by his wife, Dorilla (Cormier) Gautreau; two daughters, Janice (Rodney) Freeman and Edith (Marc) Cormier, both of Moncton; six sisters, Prima LeBlanc of Pré-d'en-Haut, Lorraine (Joseph) Gaudet of St. Anselme, Altha Dupuis of St. Joseph, Lilliane (Ernest) Hébert of Pré-d'en-Haut, Doris Léger of Moncton, Marguerite (Léonard) Gionet of St. Joseph; three brothers, Camille and Frank (Thérèse) both of Pré-d'en-Haut, Laurie of Toronto, ON; two grandchildren, Jillian and Jason; several nieces and nephews.

Resting at Chartersville Funeral Home, with the Funeral Mass to be held at Notre Dame de Grâce Roman Catholic Church, Parkton, on Saturday August 19, 1995, at 11 a.m. Interment at l' Aannonciation Parish Cemetery, Pré-d'en-Haut.
